Cthulhu

Whether it's "The Music of Eric Zann" or "...the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes" accompanying the daemon sultan Azathoth, otherworldly music has played at least some small part in Lovecraft's fiction. Many music artists have been inspired by or influenced by Lovecraft's work over the years. This discussion is for posting information, video links, etc. concerning Lovecraft-inspired musicians.

I'll start it off with the late '60s psychedelic rock band HP Lovecraft.

HP Lovecraft - HP Lovecraft I (1967) HP Lovecraft - HP Lovecraft II (1968)

HP Lovecraft - "The White Ship" (from their first LP 'HP Lovecraft I' in 1967)

HP Lovecraft - "At the Mountains of Madness" (from their second LP 'HP Lovecraft II' in 1968)

NIGHTSHADE has two songs on their new album Stand and Be True - Strange Aeons pt 1 (which is an instrumental) and Strange Aeons pt 2 which has a ton of Lovecraft references in it, including The Doom That Came to Sarnath!
