Philosolophical Stand Points

I believe we should have a group which we all would post some ov our personal philosophies that we live by, just think if we all pitch in what we could accomplish.

Beautifully said Nyrion! I can certainly appreciate the fact that we all must make personal sacrifices (among others!...lol) in order to attain the unknowable.

Man's destiny is in the stars and begins with admitting that there are mysteries here on Earth that remain to be solved. The slavemasters would have us believe that everything is concrete, reproducible and explained. Those of us that are divorced from the herd are responsible to discover that which remains hidden and to propigate the truth to others who are on the brink of discovering themselves and the reality of the universe that seethes around us. As for the rest well, "the slaves shall serve".

There are those that "see" and those that will remain forever blind. Perhaps the stars are not right for them, perhaps they never will be but I would rather go out in the spirit of conquest and discovery than under the shackles of slavery and false truths. And, whether it is a handful of adventurers or an awakened horde that forges ahead into the distant future with the force of the entire universe behind them, I will be proud to fight and die beside my brothers and sisters that we may dare to know ourselves and the truth behind the mirrors of existence.

"Some say the end is near. Some say we'll see Armageddon soon. I certainly hope we will. I sure could use a vacation from this bullshit three-ring circus sideshow." ~Tool

Here are a few ov my own to start things out.

Knowledge does not shrink from any sacrifice, and at bottom fears nothing but its own extinction. We all would wish humanity to perish rather than knowledge enter into a stage of retrogression. If Mankind does not perish through some passion it will perish through some weakness. Do we wish its end to be in the fire and lights, or in the sands.

Suspect the things ov which are understood quickly, since truth lies in obscurity, and the wise never write more deceitfully than when thier words are plain, nor more veridically than when their words are dark.

Faith means not wanting to know what is true.

Make out ov yourselves a man for whom there is no longer anything forbidden, unless it be weakness either vise or virtue.

Ov all that is written I love only that which is written in blood. Write with blood and you will experience that blood is spirit.

If faith is quite generally needed above all then reason, knowledge, and inquiry must be discredited; the way to truth then becomes the forbidden way.
