I started reading HPL when I was 9 years old and feel that it had a profound effekt on thee shaping of my life as it is today...At that age it was easy to evoke thee imagary vividly (both thee Kthuhu Mythos and HPL himself with his reklusive lifestlye) and it has stuck with me ever since...
One of my favourite stories was Thee Music of Erich Zann...I wanted to kreate Muziks for other-worldy beings...Other stories also mentioned Rites which involved Muziks that drove people into some kind of religious (blasphemous?) ekstasy...Again, this has gone on to form a large part of my later research...
Nowadays I do not striktly adhere to thee Kthulhu Mythos (or spelling!) but rather pik and mix with other frameworks as is thee Kaos Magikians way...
I have been kreating abstrakt soundskapes for many years now with a view to praktikal Ritual usage, many of which are available via the Internet:

I use a variety of Ritual Instruments inkluding singing bowls, rain sticks, Tibetan horns, aura chimes, shamanik rattles as well as synthesised sounds and have rekorded kompositions using lokations ranging from treetops to sewers...
