the bane of lamashtu

uhhh...i found this place indirectly from a myspace bulletin. (is b.o.g./christbane here?) since the name pazuzu wasn't taken i decided to sign up.

i used to be an occultist. i studied lavey (with whom i share a birthday), and later israel regardie, waite, and crowley among others. ever since i read sirius mystery by r.a. temple i have held the belief that the ancient ones created us and will return someday. that's about it, i guess you could call me a sumerian. i don't practice ceremonial magic anymore.

my music:

p.s. i make it a matter of baseless principle to use solely lower case letters and my name is typeset that way as such, and for no other reason.

how's it going?

book II of our bible, Liber A:O, will be available on our website Feb. 6th. this website update includes a list of Cthulhu 2 Convention presenters, and there will also be new stuff on CoC membership in the revised "I Am the Way" pages.

cool. we will have to! my favorite RPG to run is Call of Cthulhu (of course), but i also love the World of Darkness... especially Vampire: the Requiem. i've got about 20 books for that game and am running a saturday Vampire game currently.

there will also be a fair amount of Mythos related gaming at the Cthulhu 2 Convention:

wasn't Creatures and Cultists a game inside one of the Pagan Publishing's Unspeakable Oath magazine? did they do another version? i also have Cults across America which i've never played. only played the Mythos card game a couple times and didn't really like it, but the Call of Cthulhu card game by Fantasy Flight Games was awesome. they are doing a re-vamped version of that this Fall. plus, there's another Cthulhu board game from that company.

yeah... lots of great stuff.

Have you read books I or II of our bible, Cthulhu Cult and Liber A:O?
some of it. there is a bad ass description in the begining that i am going to use for lyrical inspiration. "a place where the inky depths of space glittered like freshly gutted entrails… a dark crimson gore strewn over the croaks and wails of hideous destiny". the mental image i get from that is more than enough to write a song.
Are you familiar with the Fourth Way?
no
